Titmus has set the industry standard in vision screening instruments since 1959. The Titmus Vision Screener tests for Acuity (Near-14 inches and Far-20 feet), Depth Perception, Color Perception, Muscle Balance (Lateral and Vertical Phoria), Horizontal Visual Fields (Peripheral vision of 130 degrees in each eye) in one lightweight, compact and easy-to-use instrument. The Titmus Vision Screener can also screen for visual acuity at Intermediate Distances (40, 32, 26, 22 and 19 inches).

The Titmus Vision Screener screens for Acuity (Near and Far Distances) Depth Perception, Color Perception, Muscle Balance (Lateral and Vertical Phoria). Intermediate Distances (between 20 and 40 inches) and Horizontal Visual Fields (Perimeter - 130 degrees) in one compact easy to use instrument.

The vision screener allows you to screen ages 5 through adult. There are special test sequences for Pediatricians, Family Practitioners, Occupational Medicine, Aeromedical (Flight Physicals), Drivers Testing and Education along with Preschool and school tests. Titmus vision screeners are approved by the FAA for Flight Physicals

The Computerized Vision Screening System (T2c) provides a Data Management System for the customers in the Occupational Medicine market. It comprises of a T2a vision screener, an Encoder (the interface between the instrument and the computer), and the Optimum for Windows software, Version 2.1.6.

The software controls the vision screener, and records the screening result. The stored results can then be compared against existing Job Standards or against Job Standards that have been created or modified to meet a specific job. The program is available in Microsoft Windows 3.1/9x/NT format, is Y2K ready and uses Microsoft Access 2.0 as the database.
